The Queen City’s orchestra welcomed an acclaimed violinist and her priceless Stradivarius for the second concert from their 2013-2014 Classics Series. In addition to a concerto by the French composer Saint-Saens, the concert opens with the popular overture to one of Mozart’s greatest operas, and concludes with Tchaikovsky’s heart-rending final symphony.
